How It All Began
Founded by two brothers — one too cheap to buy café coffee, and one who actually knows how to work a machine.
In 2020, during the COVID lockdown, Josh, then a data analyst, spent his RM5,000 bonus on a tiny 200g coffee roaster. He started roasting in his parents’ car porch in Kota Kemuning, slapped a Fiverr-made logo onto some coffee bags, and put them online.
Orders started coming in. One turned into ten. Ten into fifty. His brother John, who had a knack for machinery, joined in as head roaster. The whole family got involved. A hobby was turning into something real.

The Name Behind the Beans
The name "HisBrew" is a quiet nod to Hebrews, a reflection of the brothers' faith and belief that this journey was never just theirs. Built on purpose, trust, and something bigger.

From Car Porch to Coffee Bar
In 2021, HisBrew moved into its first shoplot in Kota Kemuning, with a 3kg roaster, a humble coffee bar, and a retail corner.
Since then, the roaster has upgraded to 6kg and often runs non-stop just to keep up.
And what's going to happen in 2025 you might ask? A new leap is coming. A more experimental space to explore, taste, and learn about coffee in new ways.
